Napier has been a standout player for the Canterbury Vikings and the University of NSW and has an impressive baseball resume, including previous stints with the Giants and Cronulla.

Napier's baseball journey has seen him represent Cronulla in Little League, Junior League, and Senior League, showcasing his dedication and skill in the sport. Now, he's taking his talents to Frank Phillips College, a Division 1 Junior College with a committed coaching staff and a strong baseball program.

When asked about his decision to commit to Frank Phillips College, Napier said, "It's a Division 1 Junior College with a committed coach and a good program." This commitment to excellence aligns perfectly with his aspirations to continue playing baseball at a high level.

James Napier also expressed his gratitude towards Ben Moore and the DownUnder Travellers, who facilitated his recruitment process. "It was pretty seamless," Napier noted. "Ben did the behind-the-scenes work once I made a solid recruiting video."

For Napier, baseball means more than just a sport. "Baseball is a pathway for me to continue to love my sport at a high level while also traveling to explore the world, which baseball has done for me," he shared.
