The Lionel Harris Cup returns for its second year, giving young baseballers four days to compete, develop and test themselves in a professional-standard tournament environment.
Running from 20 to 23 December 2026, the tournament will be held at Arncliffe Scots Baseball Club.
Part of the DownUnder Travellers World Series, the Lionel Harris Cup gives Australian athletes the chance to experience high-level baseball while building the skills, habits and confidence required to take the next step in their game.
Across the tournament, players will compete against quality opposition, learn from experienced coaches and develop a stronger understanding of what it takes to perform under pressure.
For more than a decade, DownUnder Travellers has created opportunities for Australian athletes to train, travel and compete. Our programs include elite development camps, national showcases, international tours and pathways into US college baseball.
Past participants have progressed into national programs, college teams and professional organisations. Every DownUnder Travellers event continues that focus on development, exposure and genuine player support.
The 12U division provides younger athletes with an introduction to structured tournament baseball in a competitive but supportive environment.
The 14U and 16U divisions place greater emphasis on advanced instruction, game awareness, performance standards and pathway development. Players will receive guidance from respected coaches and former professional athletes throughout the tournament.
Divisions will be determined using standard League Age tables.
