The Tony Harris Cup returns for its second year, celebrating the legacy of one of Australian baseball’s most respected figures.
Known for his leadership, passion and lifelong commitment to developing young players, Tony Harris has helped shape the pathway for generations of Australian athletes. This tournament continues that legacy through mentorship, discipline, competition and opportunity.
Running from 14 to 17 December 2026, the tournament will be held at West Torrens Baseball Club.
Across four days of high-level baseball, players will experience the competition, teamwork and standards that define DownUnder Travellers events.
The Tony Harris Cup forms part of the DownUnder Travellers World Series, a national tournament platform designed to help junior athletes develop their game, compete against quality opposition and understand what is expected within elite baseball environments.
For more than a decade, DownUnder Travellers has created opportunities for Australian athletes to train, travel and compete. Our programs include development camps, national showcases, international tours and pathways into US college baseball.
Past participants have progressed into national teams, college programs and professional organisations. Every DownUnder Travellers event continues that focus on development, exposure and genuine support for young athletes.
The 12U division introduces younger players to structured tournament baseball in a competitive and encouraging environment.
The 14U and 16U divisions place greater emphasis on advanced instruction, game awareness, performance standards and pathway development. Players will receive guidance from experienced coaches and former professionals throughout the tournament.
Divisions will be determined using standard League Age tables.
